Miss Altamaha Scholarship Pageant is an official preliminary for the Miss
Georgia Pageant and Miss America Pageant. The Miss America Organization
is a not-for-profit organization that has maintained a tradition for many
decades of empowering American women to achieve their personal and
professional goals, while providing a forum for them to express their
opinions, talents, and intelligence. The Miss America Organization is the
world’s leading provider of scholarships for young women.
Territory Covered:
Appling, Bryan, Candler, Evans, Liberty, Long, Screven, Trutland, Bulloch,
Wayne, Tattnall, Montgomery & Emmanuel Counties; Students attending
Georgia Southern University, Brewton-Parker College & East Georgia College.
